Fiat, Faithless & now Shazam!

This summer saw the following stage of development for our very own Evo Music Rooms site. The last shows aired on Channel 4 stake in May and featured some great acts from the past, present and future - plus our 6 winning artists. Each week we followed the travel of one act as they spent a week being mentored by some of the music industry`s experts and preparing for their debut television performances.

Show 2 featured the legendary dance act Faithless and as a member of the audience they definitely knew how to get the crowd going even at a TV show filming!

Fiat is helping to take the music evolution and is activated to facilitate new music evolve by supporting unsigned bands. It`s a mania they deal with Faithless, so they joined forces and are creating a total of new music projects.

The beginning of which was the following stage for the website which saw the collaboration between the two - the site features news, playlists and gives users the risk to be the blogs of the 6 winning acts featured in the TV shows.

The situation also features exclusive new videos by Faithless and support in August launched a 3 minute promotional video for the Fiat Punto Evo car, featuring their single 'Feelin' Good'.

Faithless said of the promercial: "We're ever look at new ways to get our music to different audiences and exploring new ideas. The mind of viewing our latest picture on TV during an ad break is a maiden for us or any other band." Fiat have released a Feelin' Good Punto Evo car sit in alignment with the promercial.

Ads promoting the Feelin` Good video will again air on TV and will now have a logo for the Shazam app. By clicking this viewers will be capable to get the album's tab results on Shazam.

Additional features, including Faithless' tour information and YouTube videos, will be available through the Shazam mobile app. Users with the app can tag the Faithless track, `Feelin Good`, which features in the ad. Shazam will then search its database of over 8 million paths for the track and album cover, which it will have to the mobile, as good as links through which users can buy tickets to the circuit and more Faithless tracks instantaneously.

Brian Message, a voice of Faithless`s management firm ATC Management, said, "Partnering with Shazam to encourage the album and tour taps into our fans` use of new engineering and gives them a fast and uncomplicated way to learn more around the band."

The ads will air in late-night TV slots on channels including Sky1 and Five USA, and tagging the dog will direct users to the band`s YouTube page.

Who knows what Fiat & Faithless will be upto next! I`m certain we will be seeing more new & exciting ideas coming from this unique collaboration concluded the upcoming months so watch this space...
